Am I missing something, or is that not reliably 3 actions a turn? And with DD he can turn 225 degrees in one round and still focus or evade.

It works, but the Daredevil Combo was already possible. You just have to use Daredevil before Boost. Has also been possible with EU+Daredevil on Darth Vader.

But, still awesome.

• It consumes the modification slot instead of EPT
• It only works on upgrade cards with the "Action: " header

It still costs 3 points for that extra action. I don't think it will really "fix" any of the old cards that were a poor choice because they costed an action, like Expose or R2-F2.

And I always have trouble getting far enough away for Lone Wolf to trigger, if I have more than a 2 ship list.

Worth noting, in this context: a Range 1-2 bubble around even a small ship has a diameter approximately half as large as a side of the play space. Accordingly, each bubble has an area of about one-fifth of the entire map; add in obstacles that further constrain your ships' navigation, and it turns out that while Lone Wolf is very good, mathematically, it actually has quite a restriction.

I agree and disagree. I think it is a little expensive. It could have been 2 points, MAYBE even 1, because most of those cards that cost an action are, in turn, expensive. It opens some options, such as wider use of Squad Leader, and fixes some complaints, IE Biggs players who utilize R2-F2. I kind of see it as an Imperial Cracken. My first use of this card will likely be on Howlrunner with Squad Leader. It definitely has its uses, but I think it will likely prove too expensive. You may encounter it once in a while at a tournament, at most.

IMO it depends on the opportunity cost of EI. If I had no use for that mod slot in the first place, and find some oft he upgrades very useful I'd say it does make those upgrades better.

Good point, although practically speaking you can re-order which action you take so you can always trigger the other, with both PtL and Interface. But E.I. is more restrictive in that the card is only ever useful if you have an action based modification equipped to begin with.

I think the modification slot instead of the EPT is huge. It opens the (often voted most overpowered) utility of PtL to pretty much every pilot in the game. Yeah, you've got the expense of having to put both on there, but it opens a whole range of combos that otherwise weren't possible. I'm personally cringing at Biggs and R2-F2 (seriously, that guy just needs to die. Like, forever), it opens up a pseudo-double EPT for pilots who already had it, and makes things like R7-T1 into instant triple-action-factories.

Especially given that it's going to synergize with every Action upgrade released from now until eternity in a way that PtL doesn't, I think the cost is fine.

I havnt seen too much in outrider that makes me want to buy it as soon as it comes out. Rebel aces has already permeated my lists but I don't see anything in the outrider at least that I can't live without.

Yeah, consuming the Modification instead of the EPT is huge, that is certainly the main appeal.

Biggs + R2-F2 + EI still doesn't really bother me. 6 points for 1 agility is expensive, that's 31 points.

EDIT: Meh, looks like pickings are kinda slim for it. Squad leader could work well with it, but most of the good ones would end up doublestressing the squint....... although with a wingman...... hmmmmmmm

I don't think they'll let it break anything. The mods that add actions right now, add to the action bar, which EI can't give access to

awesome if he makes it to late gameplay.. I think lone wolf really shines if it makes it to the end game. Don't have to worry about that 1-2 bubble if it's the only ship you have left, as we all know the ships we take are expendable.

NA, it still costs 3 points and adds a stress, so it's essentially the same as PtL.

That's so funny Lone Wolf is pretty much exactly what I was guessing. Less of "I told you so," and more "Oh good, I'm not totally stupid at gauging what would be balanced." So yeah, will love opportunities to run it. Dat Barrel Roll.
