How are intending to play this one?

Oh, you know, fly around. Shoot stuff. Picked Etahn, Garven & Dutch out for a little bit of synergy in the list. But mainly it's just a trial to see how it goes!

Well since you have some good support in the escorts it should be fine as is. I plan to have a lot of Y's and Z's in many of my games, just to be in the way and protect the capitol ships.

You should try to fit a Transport in when you can because they make the fighters work more for you, depending on what you use upgrades wise.

I'd put in an engineering team. You're gonna need all the energy you can get.

Yes engineering team is almost a must!

And because you're not flying the Han flacon, put the Han Solo crew card in the CR90,

you have the weapons engineer for dual target locking and the sensor team combo, why not go the extra 2 points to make those target locks REALY work for you eh? ;)

Also a nice action bounce in game is to use the CR90's Coordinate action on Dutch to make him target lock someone, then let Dutch's ability make the CR90 target lock something aswel (twice with the weapon engineer! ;) )

Or I might have gotten that wrong... but it sounds great! :D

Yeah, Han sounds like a great and economical addition. I expect everyone's 100% right about the Engineering Team, but I was trying to keep a tight rein on the Corvette's overall cost.

I still need to workout what upgrades I'm going to give the support ships, Etahn especially...

Lets us know how it works out with a nice bat rep.

Although the Rebel Transport did pretty well when we gave that a test run. The jam action is super effective!

If you have a Corvette, Roark is absolutely its best friend.

With your build, I would actually go with Tactician over Han. But everyone else is correct, the Engineering team is a must!

No HWK available unfortunately... I do have Tactician though.

3 TACTICIAN'S is fun on a corvette makes phantoms cry

I'm going to echo everyone else and recommend engineering team. Although.. You're not really taking so many energy using upgrades. You're going to be spending upwards of 5 energy a turn, but more likely only only 2/3. This build makes extra energy less necessary.

Your CR-90 looks like a bruiser. Anything that gets close will feel its wrath. Given that, you should be equipping Han for 2 points. He actually helps with your energy budget by making you less likely to need to reroll your quads.

So what do I have to say that everyone else isn't already saying?

Because your Corvette is a short-range bruiser, you are going to want to play a forward defense with your fighters. The most dangerous things to a Huge ship are, (in order) ionization and munitions. Funny enough: if you see a Tie Advanced with a Proton Rocket, you should be worried. More worrisome is a bounty hunter with an ion cannon. A pair of Tie Bombers headed towards you, each carrying an ion pulse missile is downright terrifying.

In order to quickly take down the high-priority targets, you will need speed, and a good deal of action-economy. I'm going to highly recommend putting Fire Control Systems on each of the B-Wings. That first shot on a target might be kind of mediocre, but the second one will have a Target Lock, and potentially a focus as well.

I like Dutch. A lot. And I love the Ion Turret as part of this list. The problem is that he slows down the list too much for the benefit he provides. I am recomeding Wes Janson to replace him. Wes makes it significantly harder for your enemies to fire their munitions- "that was a nice target lock you had there. Shame dodging my fire caused you to lose it". Alternately, he can remove a focus or evade token. Any follow-on shots will hurt. And if Etahn has the same enemy in his cone of fire... It's gonna hurt.

My basic advice is to let your Corvette deal with any Eyeballs or Squints that wander into range 2. Don't aim at them with the main guns- that's pretty pointless. Use your escort to take out the ships that are an actual danger to the big ship. They will take fire from said Eyeballs and Squints, but that's fine. You've got a list that should melt the heavies before turning on the fast ones.

Thanks for the comments P-Dubba, that's some really sound advice! I'm a huge fan of Wes myself and the way he can potentially shut down ordinance is amazing.

Dutch was in the list for a bit of utility with the Ion Turret & action economy (can anyone confirm if his TL passing works with the Corvette and Weapons Engineer as RealShinigami suggested above? I hadn't even considered that possibility..)

I don't really want to drop the Reds and Daggers to Rookies/Blues in favour of upgrades, as I fear Predator. A lot.

If you would drop Garven to Red you could give the Daggers Advanced Sensors. Possibly drop the Weapons Engineer to make Etahn an honorary Dagger as well, but that might hamper Han's effectiveness as well.

Good point regarding the Sensor Team - the idea was to make sure the Corvette had Target locks present and ready to go before the enemy got into range,allowing me to use actions effectively elsewhere (Co-ordinate/Reinforce), as the Target locks are going to be key for making the Corvette's attacks count (and of course for getting the most out of Weapons Engineer and Han). Dutch flying escort would help once the enemy's in range, of course.

Wes with Swarm Tactics would only really work if he was staying at range 1 of the Corvette - it might work for the initial engagement, but once hell breaks loose will it remain useful? Genuine question - Dutch seems better suited to remain close to the Corvette than Wes as far as I can tell.

Chewie should be more survivable than the Daggers, will benefit from Dutch/Garven action economy and gives another big turreted target to worry about... thoughts/preferences?

Any more suggestions? Specifically, any more suggestions regarding the escort ships & potential upgrades, or which list people think is best?
