ok, i dont wanna flame ur lists but they seem a bit subpar imho.

ur lists have similar ships to maine but with different upgrades they are quite different.

PTL on Soontir is rather important, id say essential for him to be used at close to full power, not having that upgrade on him rather limits his ability.

Gunner is decent on ur shuttle but without Fire Control System and Engine Upgrade ur shuttle is rather easy to flank and gunner is not as good. The Classic Buzzsaw Shuttle used FCS+Gunner+EU. i think running two tacticians over a single gunner is better but i have to say the the Engine Upgrade is essential.

Zoom Shuttle with advanced sensors and EU is also better than what u r currently running as the added speed and ability to turn a turn sooner is very good, I have often surprised people by boosting into block a ships path when they didnt think i could get to that spot.

the shuttle cant be played at its potential until u have put in some time - i was fast tracked a little with my squads by a few experienced players here on these forums so i had the lists but not the experience using them - this took id say 6-8 games using the shuttle with the same loadout. Zoom Shuttle(28pts) is cheap and fast but Buzzsaw(32pts) has better punch in terms of damage. If u put too many points into ur shuttle they will target it so be wary of adding stuff above 30pts unless its essential. I havent flown the Doomshuttle much as i dont like using a shuttle without EU but i know its powerful in the right squad.

There are training forums that exist for the shuttlle - they appeared about 3 months go but they were sadly pushed off the front page due to other posts :(

i actually helped design and tweek a shuttle squad called Scarlet Cowgirl which used Kath Scarlet/Buzzsaw and 2x Academy Pilots.

I've played the shuttle nearly around 8 to 10 times now. Its one of my go-tos.

I've read Sable's training tutorials on the shuttle too. Haha, they were fun. I rarely get to do the huge maneuvers he showed though, cuz of asteroids.

My experience is typically to go with an engine-less shuttle though. somehow, that restriction seems to breed better positioning from my thinking. also, doomshuttle is a whole lot of fun.

The only mod that jumps straight to mind is they if you already have 2 flechettes then drop munitions failsafe to pump NB to stabber. That extra 1 dice is needed on this squad for clean up duty.

I've been unsure about tactician and double tactician. The range 2 only limitation is pretty heavy for the shuttle to maintain with switching to targets of oppertunity all the time. Gunner+ tact might work a bit better because when those shots do happen you can double stress a single target or, especially since you have gamma+ flechettes, you can single stress 2 targets and let the gamma hammer 1.

Reminds me of when I was Modifying Baron's Focus and tried to swap to The Baron's Magic Spacebus

am thinking of other variations. heres one...

Soontir + RGT + PTL + TC + Hull Upgrade (35pts)

OGP + FCS + Gunner + Tactician + EU (34pts)

Backstabber (16)

Night Beast (15)

Total: 100pts

its got better firepower but slightly less durability.

Gunner will allow occasional double stress if 1st shot misses, but should secure consistent damage.

Backstabber is a favourite of mine, always a threat.

I love the way Soontir/Turr and BH/hipposhuttlebus with 2 named ties flies. It is a great all comers list and I've been everything except the new phantom and fat falcon lists (FOR lacking of trying so far). It has no right choices to make against it and has soooo much flexibility. It's always a pleasure to fly.
