K-turns are overpowered..

By LukesFather, in X-Wing

Wait wait wait... Chewie is immune to critical hits, essentially?

Not against Rexler with a spare Focus...

Michael Phelps can k-turn in a pool. Michael Phelps is OP!

I was happy with this game until they gave us the Expose card.

An extra attack dice for an evade? And all it costs is an action?

Frickin' CHEAP.

Wait, are you serious? Expose? That's like the worst upgrade in the game.

Yeah, sorry, i guess i probably should have realized you were being sarcastic (feels stupid) :P

Hello! Longtime lurker, first-time poster here. Just wanted to point out a physics issue here:

Also since there is no atmosphere in space pilots wouldn't blackout.

Pilots can indeed black out in space! It's not the atmosphere that causes this phenomenon, it's the high g-forces associated with high-intensity maneuvers that causes blood to pool in the pilot's legs and rest of the lower body and not have enough going to his or her brain.

Except they have inertial dampers so the pilots don't feel any of the g forces, in the x-wing books it's mentioned wedge flies with his at 95% so he can feel what the ship's doing without major negative effects.

This post is overpowered.

TIE Fighters and X-Wings are overpowered. They should never have been added to the game.

Primary and secondary weapons systems are overpowered. Combat should be collision based as that is a better test of actual skill and not the dice gods. :D

Change the title of the game to "Ywing vs Tie Advanced"

Remove every other ship of the game

???????????????

Mad Profits and game balance.

Yeah, but according to the source material, the TIE Advanced wins every time ;).

Yeah the fluff is definitely there to prevent it. I just wanted to point out that it's not the lack of atmosphere that causes blackouts.

SAY IT WITHCHA CHEST!

This game is pretty much Warhammer 40k

BLASPHEMY!!

This game is much better than 40k

Need unlike button.

Wanna know what else is overpowered?

Packaging!!

Notice how easy it is to open the box for the Falcon but it takes an act of God to get a Tie Fighter out of a blister package? The Falcon pilot is all calm and casual with his easy to open package while the Tie pilot is frustrated, stressed out and bleeding. By turn four all his ships are destroyed and he/she is passed out on the floor from blood loss. This makes blister pack ships WAY too expensive on point costs!!!

If only we knew someone with a tentative grasp on reality who could come up with some ion turret upgrades that would totally right the wrong on this issue...

No, it's not anywhere near as good as 40k. I should report you to the inquisition...

7th 40k is a terrible edition and is driving its players away, how can you say x-wing a game growing in leaps and bounds is worse?

I haven't played 7th edition, but 40k as a whole is more fun to me.

I remember it used be fun but they stopped giving a crap about balance and decided 40k was about selling models first and foremost, 6th started the decline with allies and now in 7th you can have a demon Prince leading marines with eldar providing heavy support.

But they'll go bust in the next few years so when they get bought out maybe they'll produce an edition worth playing.
