Phantoms were around pre endor, Darth Vader was overseeing the project when the rebels attacked.

I would be tempted to allow the rebels to requisition a lambda for the fight. Give it the Han and Chewie crew cards, but make it an Omicron to represent flying casual (read: crappy).

Look at it's HWK length for a start.

- No Tie Phantoms or E-wings as they weren't in production yet.

Both the TIE phantom and TIE defender are pre-Endor.

- No HWK as there weren't any there.

Says who? The entire rebel fleet was there.

- No large ships.

But you have a Lambda and a Falcon...

- Only one Tie Advanced piloted by Darth Vader.

That's the one thing I'd say couldn't be there, given Vader's preoccupation.

You could just have the huge ships there as obstacles to make the battle look more cinematic. Also it would spice up the tactics since there were no asteroids in the Endor system

Definitely going to do that. I'm wondering if I could print up/build up some debris clouds. Treat them like large asteroids.

Get some cotton wool (easily available) and stick it to the tops of the large ships (not with super-glue) to represent smoke. Tug it out a little bit and it makes great whisps of smoke. Yes, smoke doesn't rise in Space, but nor do lasers go 'pew-pew'. It will both add lovely atmosphere and feel like a battle, but it will also highlight that the ships are not in play.

Yup, I reread it and had my order wrong. However throughout the EU/Legends it doesn't have the Phantoms listed as being there. So the best ship in the game is out.

Used to do that with the WWII stuff. I will just put the tufts in different directions (atmosphere venting is a great excuse).

I have Tie Defenders on the list. See above about the Phantoms.

It was the majority of the Rebel fleet, not all of it. Just like the Phantom there isn't an EU reference so it's out.

I'm sorry, no EPIC ships.

I'm going to go with Vader in the shuttle as it makes the most sense so the Advanced is out.

I would have Epic ships as obstacles that don't fire or move, since they were concentrating fire on the Death Star and the Star Destroyers.

I wouldn't allow vader to be used or the shuttle since tech the battle had not started yet when vader took Luke in the shuttle. I would simply make it ties, squints and bombers vs falcon with lando and crew mentioned along with everything except ewings and z95s. Throw some transports in too and the corvette. Maybe even add a turbo laser ability for the imps something like at the start of turn 5 you may immediately destroy 1 rebel huge ship. Then wait another 5 turns til it's available again. Something like that.

Can't put in the big ships. It adds too much complication for new players.

One of the squads should be the ones who entered the death star (except the Y - wing, and the Xwing, due to point restrictions tho)

Ok, it looks like Maarek Stele was flying Vader's ship during the Battle of Endor. There are a couple of screenshots online although it's tough to find the actual shot in the movie.

Only took over three hours to create a spreadsheet with every pilot released so far and if they were at Yavin, Hoth, or Endor.

The only thing I have left to figure out is which other three pilots went into the Death Star.

Just saw this thread, missed it first time around. I would have suggested building lists according to roles, so someone gets the strike wing, someone the flankers and someone else in command and support. I think that would make it easier on people to keep track of what is going on and what their best course of action would be. And promoting team play over the chance of someone going off by themselves. .

Put Luke in a shuttle WITH Vader as crew! That would be correct!
