If you're not playing X-Wing, go watch Guardians of the Galaxy!

By patox, in X-Wing

And what a waste of cat woman, and the tacked on happy ending...and the cop being called robin but with a Y!!!...

I was just thinking, I must of missed that one. But that was the one with Bane wasn't it? Cuse I avoided that one.

I didn't mind Man of Steel though, at least they finally made a movie that made him as powerful as he should of been. Sure there were issues but it was still the best one of the bunch IMO. At least he didn't fly around the world backwards to reverse time, or have artificial kyptionite inspired by a pack of smokes.

Resists urge to complain about MoS

/I think I still failed resisting

So has anyone seen the movie yet and come out of the theater saying "now, that's 2 hours that I'll never get back"

DC fan boys upset that WB will never make a movie half as good that's not batman, dawn of justice has big boots to fill and I doubt WB can pull it off given how bad green lantern and man of steel were.

That's because DC stands for "dumb characters" ;) . On a serious note, I totally agree with that statement... most DC movies suck rocks. Obviously the Dark Knight trilogy is a separate discussion because that was more Christopher Nolan than anything WB specifically did.

And even then rise was a severe disappointment, "oh crimes going down because we lied about harvey, well i'm clearly over the life defining moment in my life time to retire"

And what a waste of cat woman, and the tacked on happy ending...and the cop being called robin but with a Y!!!....i need to go punch a kitten, a cute one!

stay away from my kitten!! she is a marvel fan and hates superman like i do!

no, Man of Sigh was terrible. not only is the whole movie one big whine fest but the "hero" literally tells people to stay inside where it is safe then proceeds to destroy the buildings he just told the civilians to hide in while fighting the enemy. not only that but he threatens the government and the country he says he will protect! smh zack snyder hasn't made a good movie since 300

Sometimes you need to hate the source material to appreciate a good film. I've never liked DC or any of their characters, but The Dark Knight is one of the best movies I've ever seen, and I actually found Man of Steel to be quite entertaining.

Batman Begins and Dark Knight were good. The third one, not so much.

Batman Begins and Guardians of the Galaxy are probably my top 2 comic book movies. And not necessarily in that order.

Dark Knight was a 9.0 for me out of 10. The Avengers was a 9.5 if for no other reason than it proved a comic book cinematic universe is absolutely possible and profitable.

I thought that was already proven with that many superman and batman movies decades ago. Or i misunderstood your point.

No, I was referring to a universe of multiple movies all working off of one and other; then culminating in a joint project i.e. the Avengers.

Thank you! So many people gushed about how amazing Dark Knight Rises was after it came out, but it really couldn't compare to Dark Knight, or even Batman Begins, for me.

Man of steel is a frustrating movie I liked krypton I wish they'd stayed there longer but zod was made to look like a joke right from the start beaten by a scientist, pa kent was a terrible farther telling supes he'll be a symbol of hope one scene then telling him he should let kids die because he'll be feared and hated.

Superman didn't save anyone was the major gripe every death is his fault all he does is clean up his own mess, and that 45 minute slog fest at the end was so joyless I thought it was the end to transformers 2.

Lois lane had one good part where she was a journalist the rest of the film she was just there because the script said she should be there, and there was no chemistry with superman.

And the product placement a fight inside ihop, the one outside sears no subtlety at all.

I was okay with the first half but only okay, the second half I hated and if I hadn't been with friends I'd have walked out.

I am one of those people who completely dislikes the Nolan Batman films, and pretty much every live action DC movie I can think of.

The animated Batman and Justice Leage cartoons are fantastic though. My favorite Batman movie is Mask of the Phantasm.

no, you are not alone/ i thought the nolan trilogy was ok (rises was definitely the weakest of the three) but they were certainly not as mind blowingly good as a lot of people and the media make them out to be. i think i liked heath ledgers joker the most out of all the characters throughout the three movies because he was so creepy and frighteningly real. ledger, Mark Hammel are the best Jokers ever especially Hammel's joker from arkham city. **** what a great Joker story.

but i will say that even though i mostly dislike dc characters, i would loose my mind if they make a live action Harley Quinn. she is my favorite dc character.

Guardians of the Galaxy is top of the box office for 2014!

I wonder when it starts playing in theaters...

Guardians of the Galaxy is awesome!

I especially liked Thranduil as the bad guy.
