If you're not playing X-Wing, go watch Guardians of the Galaxy!

By patox, in X-Wing

I just saw Guardians of the Galaxy. Disney's newest licensed franchise. It gives me a new hope (yes, pun here) that they are going to give their latest i.p. acquisition (aka Episode 7) the props it deserve.

So no spoilers for Guardians of the Galaxy, but go see it.

Just go.

Why are you reading this? Go watch Guardians of the Galaxy.

Apples + Oranges = Green

Trailer looked terrible. They seem to be going more and more with stupid, childish comedy, which completely ruined Iron Man 3 for me.

I do have a cinema card though, so it won't cost me any more to see it, so, will probably go see it this weekend!

It's right up there with Avengers for me. Really really good film! Thor 2, Cap 2 and now GotG - Marvel are definitely on a roll in my opinion!

Im quite looking forward to seeing this film. I'll be just happy to see some **** proper sci-fi on the big screen. And by proper sci-fi I mean SPACE SHIPS **** IT!!!

We've had almost none since trek and wars killed it back in 03

Oh and when I say trek I mean STAR TREK not that Jar Jar rubbish from 09

Saw it last night and it's a 9/10 film I was sceptical they could do a talking raccoon on screen but he's done really well, not a bad actor in there even baptista surprised me.

Makes me look forward to the inevitable guardians avengers crossover.

The Fifth Element had a lot of comedy in it too, and it is one of the best of the all time cool Sci-Fi films.

If I were to agree with you any more my face would explode, turn green and end up looking like Waaagh

Caught a showing last night/this morning. When the trailers first came out, I had almost zero interest in it, but the more I saw the closer to the release, the more I thought, "Oh what the hell, it looks like fun."

It was! Great movie. Would watch again.

Saw an early screening and I loved it. The entire team was pretty hilarious. Only thing was no post credit! Could be the early screening kept it hidden.

Forgive me Joss... I liked it more than Avengers.

Saw it last night and LOVED it. Personally, I feel they really did a good job turning a CGI raccoon into a real, fleshed out character. There was good chemistry between all of the cast, and I too was pleasantly surprised by Bautista.

There is a post credit scene but its not a stinger for the next film just one for the fans, if you want i can tell you what it is via PM.

Oh, I don't know........ it COULD be a stinger for the next film :D

I live in Japan. Movies tend to come out a few months later than the rest of the world. No joke, one of the Transformers movies was on DVD in Australia before it was released at the cinemas here.

So, you will forgive me when I necro this thread in the distant future saying "yeeaaahhh, great movie. Not as good as Avengers 6, but still pretty good!"

I am Groot

I am Groot

****!! I started to think I was going to get to do that. :)

I'm confused, because "less Transformers" seems like a rare advantage of seeing everything late.

I am Groot

We are Groot.

Awesome film:)

Meh. I'm kind of over the Marvel method.

The film was awesome go see it now!

One of the funniest movies I can recall seeing.

The folks who are writing this off for the trailers remind me of the folks who refuse to watch Breaking Bad because so many people were talking about it that it couldn't be as good as they say. The film is terrific. I can't wait to watch it again. Rocket and Groot are the best sci-fi antihero duo since a certain Corellian/Wookiee pairing.
