Ha! Can you believe I still have the Swarm printed from when i found it on the old forums? thats a great herald btw, for Abboth like you said. On a side note, I have several other Heralds (that I didnt make) but that i found which each reflect specific ancient ones that I liked, I will post them later on and try to run a search for the people who originaly made them.

Did you ever test it? I still haven't even though I am the one who made it, but some first hand experience on how it plays would be great.

anyone ever think of making a H.P. Lovecraft herald? i think its a cool idea!

I've been thinking of it for a while actually. I already have a picture (a cartoonish picture I mean, not a photo), but I haven't thought up abilities for him yet.

Alternatively there is this :') (which I'm actually more inclined towards)

here is my idea for a hplovecraft herald!!! if anyone is inclined to make a strange aeons version i would be most thankful!! Anyhoo.....

H.P.Lovecraft

TRAPPED IN A NEVERENDING NIGHTMARE:

Investigators can only be devoured in the final combat, instead of being devoured they are lost in time and space and draw 1 madness card and 1 injury card.

KNOW HOW THE STORY ENDS:

Once per game a player may skip the mythos phase and pay 10 clue tokens to take the Join the Winning Team card. Cultist, maniac, witch, and warlock trophies count as allies for completing Join the Winning Team.

YOUR WEAPONS WILL NOT WORK HERE:

All monsters have Physical Resistance.

RAIN OF MAGGOTS:

If an investigator ends their movement in the street they must make a WIll -1 check or lose 1 sanity.

i will be playtesting my hpl herald and let you all know how it goes. what do u all think?

::Laughter:: it's a good herald for people who want to turn Arkham Horror into a competitive board game.
