I know this is a silly question, but what are the names of the cities on the game board that are un-named? I recognize Chicago as space #5, and space #1 looks like Anchorage, but I was wondering about the others. Is there an official list?
un-named cities?
No official list that I'm aware of, sorry. But they shouldn't be too difficult to spot out with the help of a (google)map.
The back of the investigator cards will tell you the locations that people will start in. As far as I can tell they are pretty spot on, some are generic locations but others are real cities.
Okay, between the back of the cards and google maps, I just have one disagreement. The musician (with an origin space of deep south) seems like he would be in New Orleans, but city #6 looks more like Monterrey, Mexico to me.
So far, I think #1 is Anchorage, #5 is Chicago, #7 is probably Panama City, #15 is Capetown, #17 is Mumbai (Bombay), and I'm confused about the others. Maybe #6 is Monterrey, maybe #14 is Helsinki, maybe #16 is Novosibirsk, but I have very little confidence in that one, and maybe #20 is Balikpapan.
Any other theories? And thanks for the ideas.

14 is Helsinki for sure since Mark start there and his story Mention Finland and 16 Is Krasnoyarsk since Trish start there and her story mention city of Krasnoyarsk Siberia
I tend to treat them as a general area rather than a specific one, so the city in the Deep South could be Houston for one encounter and New Orleans for the next. Just as long as isn't pretending to be something completely out of context like Nairobi, or Timbuctu, I'm happy to let it slide.
I think #6 is supposed to be Antonio, TX as Jim Culver starts there, and his Personal History says, "Lately, some departed souls in San Antonio have been all riled up...Anything that scares the dead deserves old Jim's undivided attention."
