FFG is prolly never going to make the other Large Base EU ships.

My brother is waiting to join this game until they bring the Otana to the Scum faction. So there are people holding their breath.

That is awful specific if you consider that Ace Azzameen fought for the Alliance at Endor and the Otana was used for evac of the Hoth base at the battle of Hoth. Thomas and Galin were both killed in action when delivering bacta for the Alliance as well, it is really hard to not count the Otana as a Rebel vessel. Besides that the YT-2000 would be sweet model even when another corillian freighter sounds rather redundant.

On top of that we already have Emon Azzameen's Andrasta in the game. And yes, you can fly it as scum, not as rebel unfortunately.

Reckon we can get it to two years without the gunboat? If I was FFG, I would actually release an article celebrating the two years of dedication to a ship that just is not going to arrive in the this game at this stage.

Gimme! I wanted these in Wave 4, but if I have to wait for Wave 6, so be it. It would be nice to have a beam upgrade introduced with this ship, too.

I agree. Together with a Talon 3 and Segnor Loop 3 and K5 and K3, and it's own version of the TIE/x7 title. 3/3/2/2 stats and F, TL, BR or boost.

When Gunboat thread reaches 100 pages Gunboat will arrive. Then we start the Avenger or Missile Boat thread.

I feel like the DX-9 and Delta-class have more to offer the game than the Avenger or Missile Boat. The Avenger is really just a shielded FTL Interceptor and the Missile Boat is super overpowered in a way that doesn't translate well to this game's mechanics.

Avenger could introduce the Imperial T-roll, or at least sloops.

You know what, those are excellent points. I'd be okay with both.

The Avenger was pretty ludicrously fast, red TRolls and SLoops on the dial would be great, plus maybe all green 3s. Possibly even the first ship to eschew 1-Speed manoeuvres completely!

The Missile Boat would need something pretty restrictive for unlimited warheads though. Either a prohibitive slot requirement (Missile + Torp like LRS is pretty good) or even an ordnance cost cap (sort of like the TIE/D title; maybe you can equip one Missile under 5 points and use it in lieu of a Primary?).

I know what will happen, we will hit 100 pages and it will be released . . . in Armada. . .

People have been going about this all wrong. .

Remember the stink people kicked off about the intentional draw ruling which managed to get not one but two replies from FFG addresses its detrimental impact on the game? Well where is the uproar for lack of Star Wing in the game and its detrimental impact on the game as a whole?

A 'Star Wing is Coming' announcement would have fixed IDs. Also Uboats, Palpaces, turrets Phantoms (retroactively), Paul Heaver et al, etc.
