I'm waiting on the GUNBOAT preview article so we can get that sweet, sweet, 360 rotating view of the model and put it in a YouTube video with Glorious as the background music. On repeat. For six hours.

That just reminds me of the nodding Gandalf / Epic Sax Guy video, but now he is nodding to the news of the gunboat.

If you are are going to do a video, I think you should use the announcement footage and then overlay Glorious Domination over the top of it and then fade into the 360 spinning view.

Looking up 'Gunboat music' on YouTube brought up this.

Didn't think it fit too well at first, but then there were so many lines about 'I've been waiting, I've been holding out'. So it's at least a round peg through a square hole.

This is gonna sound weird, but back in the day I used to listen to this alot when playing TIE Fighter, so this is probably the closest thing I have to a personal Gunboat soundtrack...

It was mid-80's stuff. Reagan years. It only lasted for 13 episodes.

The show wasn’t that great, it came about during the latter part of the 80s 30 minute toy commercial glut and was affected by relatively poor sales, writers strikes and bad economy.

but the Toys looked awesome! Never got my hands on them, I wouldn’t mind getting a decent collection some day. They were spring loaded and motorized without batteries, and had magnets! And the bad guys had the Triforce on their ships.

That was pretty much the standard back then. Throw a few episodes out there, release a toy line, and hope the kiddies take the bait. For every He-Man or M.A.S.K. there was 100 cheapo copycats trying to dip their toes into the money pool.

Of course there were other franchises that would also put out odd things for kids to snap up as well.

Wonder when FFG is going to release that?
