A remake with more/new canon units would be great. And improved ground battles (which became boring after some time).
It would be amazing to see Gozantis, Light Cruisers and Raiders... and Gunboat, of course.

EDIT: My history with the Rebel Assault series is of love-and-hate. I liked the games very much, but the experience was ruined by the ghost of free-flying from the X-Wing series. And I never got a chance to play Rogue Squadron or Shadows of the Empire.

I really do hope we get it soon. Seems FFG is stretching it with Rebel ships, the wookie canoe and ARC-170 comes to mind. The gunboat might not fit in with the tie solar panel theme, but at least it fits with the Lambda. It would be a shame if the only thing Imp players has to look forward to is Imp shuttles and slightly altered tie variants from ep 8-9.
Resurrected Starships has done another video! More story based this time, but still, it's nice to see more Gunboat content out there.

It's interesting to see so many people choose TIE Fighter as their favourite game. It's probably the boldest Star Wars story ever told; a tale told from the Empire's point of view. I'd love to see Disney take a cue from it for their next adult-orientated offering following the success of Rogue One - let's see a Star Wars film depicting a pilot's life in the Imperial Navy.
