It's NGE for ground combat from a full source code that was leaked some years ago. It's not the final build before shutdown, but they're working to implement things that were good in later builds. You can create 5 characters max, and right now can log in 3 at a time (fluctuates). There is a memory leak that they're still working on so there are server resets roughly every 8 hours. Space is all there though (escort missions are light on fighter waves from what I remember on live, but the rest is everything I remembered and more).
You get to kill Kenkirk in the ISD heroic instance. Your group has to fly to the ISD together, then crash into it to board.
If you ace all 9 squadrons between the 3 factions on a single character it unlocks a free Hanger to display your ships in.... your house can be a starship hanger!!! Still working on that myself - ground game sucked me in lately.

It will do good replacing TIE Defenders and Palpmobile (if it hasn't already been replaced) to the point people will be whining about it over all the forums. then FFG will nerf all missiles to include Homing missile.
The way I see it, the FAQ was merely paving the way for the upcoming Wave 11 meta.

Doing a Imp HotAC campaign, and would like peoples ideas on something
I'm using the ARC-170 dial for the gunboat (have the mels model and custom card), but what existing dial from any ship, do you thing best fits the Missile Boat?
