Sisters has a plastic range incoming. at LEAST 2 HQs and a Fast attack choice as plastic, as of confirmed today.
So Ok.
Let's do this.
Final bet.
FFG OFFICIAL ALPHA CLASS XG-1 ASSAULT GUNBOAT
VS
PLASTIC THUNDERHAWK MotherF*****g GUNSHIP.
NO HALF MEASURES, NO STORM NOUNS, NO "It's kind of like a gunboat".
NO.
Which will come first?
My Money is on the Thawk.
Either way, I win. The Imperial players great white whale vs the Imperium players great white whale.
Edited by DariusAPBSo I've had an idea for sisters order of the red knot, a convent full of space wolf fan girls that follow the fenrisian lads all over the sub sector.
It's been a few years since I've been on the forums this is just me chiming in that I'm still waiting for my gunboat, FFG

By the way, apparently Cadia is finally falling to Failbaddon. Given that GW had to interfere with the world campaign for the last 13th Black Crusade just so the Loyalists would stop losing, and Abbadon blew up a portion of his own Legion groundside while losing a Black Fortress and a significant chunk of his fleet after his flagship spun out of control.
I can't wait to see the salt of more End-Times being released.
Edited by incinerator950I dread the end times after the way they cocked up fantasy.
Ffg give me gunboats to improve my feels.
Gunboats clearly need the evade action.

You rate the XG1's chances that low?
God it's not as if we are saying plastic genest... wait... what?
Well, this is the Age of Disney Canon. They could have used Gunboats instead of inventing the Tie Striker in the movie. But, because of reasons, they did not.
And this is why I fear we will never see the Gunboat again (as well as several other vessels from old computer games i would love to have in X-Wing): Because of reasons.
Disney Canon does keep drawing from EU Canon, though. They pick and choose what they want, which is fine.
And unless Disney enjoys leaving money on the table (lol), then eventually, they will choose GUNBOAT.

At this rate, Rebels needs to be called Cameos because 75% of their episodes revolve around a character/material from the Clone Wars kids show or EU books.
I'm still trying to work out how Maul survived being cut in half and falling down a bottomless pit.

Fanboy level writing from some halfwit who grew up with the prequels, fear not good emperor trump will take of their kind and give us cookies.
I question the world "Bottomless" being used on a planet there is an underwater passageway through the Core....

Can't be worse then Abram's and friends dumbass idea to condense the post-Endor GCW timeframe from 14 years to less than 2.

Yep! A Galactic Empire with trillions of troops and millions of ships and member worlds is totally stumbling in a 2 year timeframe, utterly crushed by a Rebellion with 3% as much assets...

I'll never understand the idea that it was JJ's doing.
Just thought of a great silver lining. Currently, the Gunboat is totally undefeated in Disney canon. It can't be beaten!

As opposed to Pablo and Chuck? What's her name in charge of LA, or the Disney shareholders who fired most of the LA studio when it was agreed on not to with Lucas when they bought the company?

Stressed X-wing can't k-turn?
That X-Wing be in big trouble.
Hey did anyone else see the Gunboat in Rogue One?

No. Everything new was given screentime.

In the first scene of Rogue One, the Death Trooper is clearly seen stuffing a toy model of the XG-1 Starwing into a bag along with other Jyn Erso play things. Unfortunately, this only validates that in the canon Star Wars universe, the Gunboat is only a toy.
