So for +11 points, a 3agi Missileboat gets its first six attacks as Party Rockets 5 reds?

There's still the infinite target locks in S-thread tracers, or the ability to kill any large ship with a six turn walk-off. Or six corral horn in cluster missiles, six shield bypass in advance homing, and there green dice to luck it's way to make it work.

I don't see how that's any different than the Punisher carrying two missiles, a torpedo and an Extra Munitions. Which also gives 6 shots, with a wider array of options.

Which exisitng dial do people think fits the Gunboat/missile boat the best? This is which DIALS, not the ship it's self. This can be from any faction. Mainly because I don't really have the skills/rescourses to make custom ones. And I'm kinda lazy that way.

*edit* I'm thinking gunboat is close to the Aggressor dial minus the S-loop. Not alot of speed (no hard 3's or straight 4's), and 1-2 hard turns are only white. All straights and banks green. Seems to fit it's profile.

Interceptor or A-wing dial is prob the best for missile boat. Both a fast, and looking at it, seems to match IMO.

GUNBOAT should definitely have 1 turns. Add those to theX-wing dial and that sounds good, except maybe that 4 straight needs to be red.

A Flechette torpedo has no missile equivalent.

Missiles and torpedoes are not interchangeable in this game.

Why do so many large ships have to have 1 turns? I was ok with the falcon doing it, because it lost the 3 turn. but now so many large ships have amazing Dials, it just doesn't seem right. A VCX-100 shouldn't be able to turn like a TIE fighter. but that's just my opinion.

GUNBOAT (despite my rampant capitalization) is not and will never be a large base ship.

Semantics at best. Torpedoes are arguably better than Missiles anyway. So if the Punisher's 2 Missiles/2 Torpedoes isn't broken, then 4 Missiles wouldn't be either.

I completely agree about Large ships having the 1 turn, it's ridiculous.

I can understand the Aggressor having it because from what I understand only droids could pilot that ship due to the maneuverability. The Ghost? That pisses me off to no end, a fat thing like that should not turn so quickly, even if it is red.

True, but that's true of EVERY ship in the games that the Missile Boat was in. Any ship could carry any ordinance type.

But for theming and game mechanics, FFGs limits ships to various types.

The MISSILE Boat should carry missiles.

six copies of ANY one upgrade type would be broken. Splitting missiles and torpedoes allows you to carry both.

I don't see how. Frankly, it seems like a waste of points even. I'm not sure what kind of games you play where a ship gets chance to fire ordnance 6 times in one game, but I've never seen such a thing.
