I took the Rhoboats out for a spin on Fly Casual past night, double PtL Rhos with Vessery against quad Wookiees (probably as tough a match up as the AI can give you). Not going to lie, stackable Harpoon conditions are horrifying. I won one game where splash damage killed three ships at the same time (including Vessery)
I've been thinking of some alternate builds for Lt. Karsabi.
Lt. Karsabi w/Deadeye, Harpoon Missile, Advanced Slam (31) or Lt. Karsabi w/XG-1 Assault Configuration, Deadeye, Harpoon Missile, Advanced Slam, Mangler Cannon (36) or with Linked for (38)
The idea being you can use Karsabis' ability as a stand in for the OS-1 Title while maintaining the flexibility of a Deadeye Rho. Including the Cannon just is insurance against someone trying to speed or boost their way into range one to avoid being harpooned. The Mangler (or cannon of choice) makes his range one threat slightly scarier and gives him something to fire when he's reloading so opponents won't feel safe landing in front of him even if his missile is down.

It's going to be cheaper for you to get 4 Scyks than to buy 4 manglers off eBay after postal fees.
Maybe not. But the price difference doesn't justify not getting the other cards that come with the Scyks (4x Flechette cannon, 4xIon Cannon, 4xStealth devices)
In any case, You also need 4 Long Range Scanners for that squadron in your picture, and that is 2 boxes of Imperial Veterans. Do you have 2 of those?

Well, he doesn't necessarily need to get four Scyks. He could get 4 IG-2000's.

Yes. Much better. He gets 4 copies of a bunch of illicit cards that don't go on gunboats, and 4 copies of unique pilots. But it's all worth for getting also 4 copies of Autoblaster Cannon!

Four points left for a missile or Engine Upgrade on Vader. The Tempests are free to Evade and feed Vader for the murdershot. In a world of Sensor Jammer Ghost/Fenn, these guys might just be crazy enough to get the job done.

Exactly someone in that department needs a force choking, which let's be honest is a great motivator.
This could easily be it's own thread; "Pilots in the wrong ships."
Again, Rhymer in TIE Aggressor, ABT gets pretty stupid, no more donut holes, and even ABT/Synced becomes full range.
