I imagine it might limit the cannon to a certain points value as well - i.e. Jamming Beam, Tractor Beam, Flechette or Ion.

BTW, FFG, as a token of appreciation, I just bought 3 TIE Aggressors. Might pick up some more (repeated) Rebel ships too. The Gunboat isn't even out and I'm poorer already.

Wait a minute, the second cannon looks something like this: Linked B(atteries?): allow you to shoot a secondary weapon (just cannon?) + primary weapon.

Now what's the next crusade? TIE Avenger? TIE Hunter? N-1 Starfighter? Rogue-class Starfighter?

I came into this forum thinking people were all kidding about something... this is completely surreal! I was paying so much attention to the Legion announcement that I didn't even see this yet!

I've been holding off on my X-Wing purchases to save money for all the other FFG StarWars games (so only one of each ship per wave), but I'll definitely buy five of these! Hopefully they printed enough of them!

I'm happy the Gunboat exists and seems pretty well balanced, so it won't become commonplace or get that much hate from non-Gunboat lovers. Although I guess it's a little sad that this thread won't be practically "pinned" to the first page anymore...

A fairly common custom card is a cannon upgrade that just adds 1 to your primary attack. IE., 'When performing a primary weapon attack, add one attack dice. You may not attack again this turn.' ?
