Well you said 2 years. We've got one more season of Rebels and whatever they decided to replace it with (they're hardly gonna have nothing), as well as the films. Possibly even something on Netflix...?

I'm sure there'll be plenty of opportunities for FFG to give us the next Quadjumper or Auzituck.

I heard some mention on how the squeaky wheel gets tje grease? What we need to do is complely bombard the Star Wars twitter with our wanting to see the Assault Gunboat in Han Solo. Or at least make it cannon some how. I can't be the only one doing this, they'll snuff me out. Please we must bombard them with gunboat pics, memes, and demand for the Alpha-class XG-1 Star Wing Assault Gunboat!

I sent 1. One twitt to Pablo Hidalgo about the Gunboat and he insta blocked me.

Even if 9 out of the 10 frames where it appears it's just it exploding. The Quadjumper is not much more than that.

The back story could be that Cyngus' contract got thrown out because the Assault Gunboat under performed, post republic era, compaired to the newer TIEs. They could have easily made it one of the last fighters built around the time of the V-wing. Perhaps trying to replace the Y-wing but went in favor of Sinar's TIE platform.

I'm thinking YF-22 vs YF-23 contest.

All good except the "under performed".

It was a political decision to favor the shielded TIEs instead of the Gunboat.
