Turbolasers ranging from Kilotons to hundreds of megatons is well in line with what we see in the movies.
Everything above that is getting weird.
Yep some calcs for fighter cannons and hand blasters are just pure BS.
Regarding power generation exceeding m/am reactions. In the SW universe there is a thing called hypermatter which contains more energy than antimatter. It's never explained how it works exactly. but it is implied it somehow draws energy from hyperspace (enthropy be damned! ^^ ).
Oh yes, I know all about hypermatter. Issue is a ship controlling something that is streaming out power many times that of our sun has to have a medium capable of directing all that energy. Taking 200 megatons per turbolaser wouldn't likely be possible even streaming plasma throughout the ship like they do in Star Trek (and we know how even slight jolts can cause explodyness in that show). Either you're using the king of all superconductors in order to pass that energy around or you're seeing that Star Destroyer melt as the resultant heat of resistance cooks the ship from the inside out (especially with nowhere for it to escape to due to the vacuum of space).
In any case, I don't want to get too distracted from the awesomeness of gunboats. We all know the Gunboat probably puts out 1.21 jigawatts at any point in time.
