Well, there's plenty of Cygnus-style wings opening and closing in the Star Destroyer shot, but I think they're all the new four-winged transport.

All of those things were what i was actually thinking of. Plus the U.S.S. Enterprise 1701 in the re-imagined BSG opening, and plenty of others.

I wanted the true sequel to TIE Fighter to be the Thrawn campaign from the Zahn trilogy and introduce planetary bombing missions with the Scimitar Bomber as well as utilize the GUNBOAT and my favorite TIE Bomber. Working your way up in the ranks under the Grand Admiral would have been glorious.
Speaking of Bombers why didn't Imp Vets have Chimps?!?!?!? How are my deadeye gamma vets supposed to alpha strike without chimps? Oh well I guess LRS will have to do.

Seriously, if they can't work out how much they could make from a Star Wars dogfighting game of the quality if the X-Wing series, then they need to elect new CEOs who can.
