If you have lets say Frenzied Carnosaur, attacking and inflicting damage on allies, 'When this unit attacks deal 1 damage to each unit you contril in this zone, ', is this treated as combat damage, as it happens during the battlefield phase when they attack? Secondly, if it is combat damage, will the card Shrine of Nurgle, corrupt those damaged units with the following ability, 'When an opponen't unit is dealt combat damage, corrupt that unit'.

No. Only damage dealt during the actual battle (when you add up the attackers/defenders power and deal that much damage to the other side) and Counterstrike damage are considered combat damage.
