So I have the Azalatoth mystery where you need an artifact and then spend some clues to discard it.

My question is:

Can all investigators add clues to the requirement or only the investigator with the artifact?

Only the investigator with the artifact (don't have the mystery with me to check, tho, so, I'm going by memory). Remember clues are tradable in EH, so, simply stockpile one investigator with everything and pass it!

It looks like a mystery from the expansion which is still on its way to me, but so far there is no such encounter or mystery that allowed the investigators to pay something together. It is always done by the one investigator who specifically attempts it (unlike Elder Sign, where the mythos cards specifically allow to discard something as a group, but since that is a totally different game, that has no bearing here).

I'd like to see the exact wording of that mystery, that would be the surest way.

Ok, then. So, IIRC (it's a long time since the beta was over, and I haven't received my copy of Forsaken Lore yet) it's one investigator who has to do the whole job. If you don't mind posting the original wording, it'd be easier for all of us giving you a more precise answer
