Handy all-ships-in-one maneuver reference card. Ready for print!

By Malmer, in X-Wing

yup, me too

i wonder if it's because i'm not printing on A4?

That sounds weird‽ I've even printed mine from that very file.

At any rate, I've split it in two seperate files:

dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5303298/Rebels_print.pdf

dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5303298/Empire_print.pdf

Don't hesitate to let me know, if there's still implications.

I printed them as well from the original, got nifty double sided ones... that will be obsolete in a month when wave 4 gets here.

...wave 4 is on there. They are perfect!

I had the print issue too. Though strangely printing it from the Dropbox pop up (as opposed to downloading and printing from acrobat reader) would print it 200% size and double sided. It was the only way I ever got the rebels to print. Thanks though, they are great.

The gaming area gets cluttered easily, and the solutions I've seen for referencing ship maneuvers,

are less than optimal.

I've made this double-sided reference card instead, for your printing leisure.

It's the same size as the ship cards, so it will fit right in with your stash.

9 cards on a sheet, ready for print, can be downloaded here:

(PDF is A4, double-sided, 300dpi, CMYK, no color profile included)

Enjoy :)

Thanks again for these cards. I printed them up double sided, and laminated them. Then I handed them out as additional participation prizes for the Assault on Imdaar alpha tourney I was TOing yesterday.

Hello Malmer,

great work you did there. Would you mind if I linked the files in my blog? http://swpocketmodels.de/

I really shouldn't post at 4 in the morning... good call. Maybe I was thinking the huge ships, but it's not like their options aren't obvious.

So, they are perfect! Sorry for my idiocy, I'll try to reign it in.

Fantastic.

Thanks

Thanks so much again...

Also for posting them seperate...

As for the problem i had to print...

It is the stupid Adobe Acrobat reader which is (still) causing the issue with the Rebels not being able to print and just get a blank sheet of paper.

If anyone else got the problem...

http://www.foxitsoftware.com/downloads/

That is a good alternative to Adobe.

And i can print from that... hehe

Sure thing, people can share it wherever :)

This thing is amazing dude. mad props

at least now i can lose in style :D

This is great. Thanks for sharing

Excellent job. A couple concerns -- What size are each card? Will that size change when "Wave 4" ships are available?
I'll have to print some for my crew. Again, wonderful idea.

Wave 4 ships are already on the cards... so you wont have any problems...

Only ships you wont see are the Hugh 2 Rebel ships.. which in my opinion dont need to be on the cards... :)

Also, they're the same size as your pilot/ship cards, so they should fit right in with your stuff.

Thanks for sharing these! I just printed them out. They look great. :-)

Tnx for making these cards I just printed them on very think paper and laminated them and they look great! tnx so much :)

Thanks for sharing and the work and time you put into these. A fantastic tool!

This is great! Unfortunately I can't get the Rebel sheet to print, even with the separate file. When I try to export to Word from Adobe Reader, I get the notification that the file is protected with a password.

Really nice work! Thanks for going to the trouble to make these. If you don't mind my asking,

what application did you use to make them? I'm thinking about making some custom cards

and would appreciate any information or pointers you could give. I used to collect the Star

Wars Miniatures and did a number of custom cards for that game- got pretty good at it. I was

actually in process of creating a whole set, with boxes for the set as well. Now I'd like to do

the same for this game!

I've updated the print alternatives as JPG instead:

I've used InDesign for the layout, Illustrator for some of the vectors and some Photoshop for the background pictures. As for tips and tutorials, YouTube would be much better suited for anyone's needs. Just be sure to have fun :)

People are also free to share them from whatever blog, channel or community they're running or frequenting. Enjoy :)
EDIT: Some people were having problems with the Rebel side coming out blank, when using Adobe Reader. TheDarkPilot suggested using the Foxit reader instead.
Alternatively I've exported both as JPG.
(300dpi, CMYK, no color profile, maximum compression quality)

This is what I was looking for thanks.
