Has anyone worked up a statblock for an Acklay? I haven't seen one, but that doesn't mean anything ![]()
I was thinking about just using a Gundark stat block for ease, changing out the Meaty Fists for Mantis Claws (Defensive 1, Knockdown).
Thoughts?

Ah ha! Thanks. That's what I get for searching this forum and not the whole site.
The lyleck is the same as an Ackley, look in Long Arm of the Hutt
Hmm..Not sure I want to put my players up against a planet full of captive rancors...They're good, but journeyman bounty hunters are stlil a stiff challenge ![]()
I like making up scary critters of my own.
For the PCs in my group, on their return to Cholganna as part of a follow-up to Beyond the Rim, I created a series of encounters developed around them having to track down and recover the scattered and hidden survivors they were forced to leave behind when they bugged out the first time.
I ended up creating a bunch of totally new monsters and hazards to, er, um, "challenge" them. Good times. Good times.
I've been slowly building up to monsters, but my starships have been taking up more time.
What can I say, my players like ships. Monsters aren't as necessary in my Star Wars game.
