Making an object psychically warded

By musungu, in Deathwatch Rules Questions

Core Rulebook's Psychic Phenomena and Perils of the Warp tables, and Psychic Powers like Machine Curse, mentions "warding" objects as providing protection from psychic powers. Now I'll need some game mechanics regarding this, because I'll send my KT on a mission where this might prove crucial to completing their objectives.

So, is this action detailed anywhere in the DW rulebooks, or is it a possible copypasta from DH? If so, where in DH should I start?

Edit: It was a mistake to re-read this. Now I feel the title is confusing. What is the non-awkward adverb of "psychic"? :)

Look up hexagrammic wards, Gellar fields or null rods.

Your best bet for armour is hexagrammic wards though. I think some are in DH but its just protective runes and such.

You also may use force fields like an iron halo to resist psychic attacks.

There's not a rule for PCs making wards though, just buying them.

Try the Dark Heresy book detailing the Grey Knights, there might be something in there. Otherwise I'd suggest asking the house rule forum.

Oh, silly me, how could it be anything else :)

Thanks!
