Sounds like fun, the players could be part of the expedition (with other characters) and gain some background information through the adventure.
Is it a long adventure (about how many sessions to run)?
Is the focus on combat (dungeon crawl) or is there more to the adventure?

Id say for a WFRP game it would take 3 sessions, but would need some solid goals.
