With this getting released in the 3rd quarter, will there be a world champion for this game this year?

They did it with Netrunner and it released third quarter 2012.

May even be an inaugural tournament/nationals at GenCon (like they did for X-Wing and Netrunner a couple of years ago). GenCon release does fit with Q3.

I think a Gencon release is a given. I'd love to see a tourney as well!

Looks like there is a GenCon tournament. And I do believe tickets for it already sold out, LOL!

They opened up a bunch of seats for the tournament. As of this moment, it still has 17 open tickets.
