Haven't seen this posted yet. Game Depot, Tempe AZ, I think 24 players. Tons of Imperials and specifically interceptors.

1st place was triple Firesprays

2nd place was Howl+Swarm, an Obsidian, two Academy Pilots, and Krassis w/HLC

3rd place was two Bounty Hunters and Soontir w/Stealth and PTL

4th place was two X-Wings (not sure on pilots/upgrades) and two Daggers w/Advanced Sensors

Huh, that's an interesting idea for a list, stealth device as standard equipment on a 2 agility ship. Neat to see it work though, even if just in a 9 player tournament.

I won the Roll the Dice murfreesboro tn store championship yesterday (3/22). 8 players were in attendance, and 6 of the 8 were running imperial builds.

I was running 2 rookies, one with an R2, Biggs, and Kyle with a Blaster turret, Recon Specialist and the Crow title, at 99 points. Second place was an 8 tie swarm (backstabber +7 academies).

I won the Store Championship at Wizard Games, Gothenburg, Sweden, March 22

Nr of players: 6 + 3 who had to leave after game 3 due to bad planning.

My list: Soontir Fel (PtL, Stealth Device), Mauler Mithel, Backstabber, Dark Curse (Stealth Device), Night Beast. Went 4-0

Rest of top 4: (don't remember exact upgrades but has added the ones i am certain of)

2nd: Chewie (shield) , Luke (shield, R2D2), A-wing

@ManOnAWire - Unfortunately, by the time they got their kit for the Store Championship, their schedule for tournaments and such was booked solid for the month of March and the first open day they had was April 19th. It's ok since the regional in our area at Kublacon won't be held until May 24th.

The HWK and the Shuttles are meant to be support ships - ans no work horses ... so its ok I guess.

I made very decent experiences with Yorr supporting Ties. The HWK a supporting ship may be expensive for 100 point games - but well-used it can be devastating. Maybe the HWK will see more use together with some Z-95.

The A-Wing will be at least middle tier after release of the Rebel aces

But I don't think the Imperial Aces will change much about the Interceptors ... Maybe Y-Wing and Tie Interceptor will switch positions.

What surprise me is that even the Dark Lord himself is not as competitive as many think of. The Advanced needs a boost - even vaders advanced needs a boost. The Advanced should be at least to find in the middle tier.

~20 attendees, though some dropped out and there were 16 finishers.

The final four were:

Imperial - Firespray-31 (Bounty Hunter), Tie Fighter (Howlrunner w/stealth), TIE Interceptors x 2 (Sabers) - Event Winner

Rebel - B-Wing (Dagger Squadron with HLC and FCS) x 3 - Event Second Place

Imperial - 2 TIE Interceptors and 2 TIE fighters (all named pilots, sadly don't have the exact list)

Rebel - B-Wing (Ten Numb with Autoblaster), 2 X-Wings (Biggs & Wedge with astromechs)

The whole event was pretty mixed rebel-imperial right down the results board and we had a mix right the way down to us poor goons at the bottom, with a BYAA force taking on (unsuccessfully) 5 stealthed-up Black Squadron TIEs.

Vader did proud the one person who used him here; the major problem was no-one fielding the advanced in the first place. I admit I would be surprised to see more than one advanced; I'll agree Vader is just so much better for his points than any other advanced pilot, so even if you see an advanced pilot in a squad, you'll rarely see an advanced squad (in the way you see pure X-wings, TIE l/n or B-wings).

One thing - having been on the receiving end - Vader's firepower is not something to laugh at. He's able to get into range 1 reasonably easily, and once he does, 3 dice Locked and Focused was genuinely scary.

4th was BH, 2 TIE Ints, and Howl I think?

While it wasn't an FFG sanctioned event we did run it by all of the FFG rules including time, strength of schedule, and no aces.
