Event Horizon Games - March 22nd

12 attendees - Rebels managed to come out on top. Winning list was something along the lines of:

Luke w/ R2D2, Deadeye, Proton Torpedoes, Shield

Garvin w/ R2

Kyle w/ Moldy Crow Title, Ion Cannon, Recon Specialist

2nd place was 4 X Obsidian, 4 X AP.

That may not be exactly right but it's close (ships/pilots for sure). Interesting day.

That works out to 100 points, thanks! And it's a 3-ship Rebel build without a YT-1300! Might be the first one here.

Edit: 43-33 Rebels!

I don't think you have these, so I'll throw them out there. Forgive me if they're repeats.

*The Sage's Shoppe, West Lafayette, IN: Mar 8 (10-12 players): Empire

3x Bounty Hunters

*The Game Preserve Pavillions, West Lafayette, IN: Mar 8 (17 players): Empire

3x Bounty Hunters

The first tournament had an overwhelming amount of Imperial builds that wiped the floor with my Jan squad. As soon as the first tournament was over just about everybody carpooled to The Game Preserve for some more fun, but I couldn't make it. The same guy won both Store Championships. I've played him a lot and just can't seem to beat him!

Edit: looks like you already have these listed as the ?? Tournament 1&2.

Thanks - I think those were the 2 tournaments listed as "Tournament 1" and "Tournament 2" in Rakky's list. I filled in the info in the googledoc.

Edit: It's a vicous battle for 11th place in % points spent.... the HWK-290 just managed to jump ahead of the Lambda Shuttle by a hair!

Lord Vader finds the community's lack of faith in his TIE Advanced X1 disturbing.

So far it looks like we can separate the ships into three tiers:

Top Tier

X-wing 19.21%

B-wing 17.28%

Firespray 12.32%

YT-1300 9.61%

TIE Interceptor 4.29%

Bottom Tier

TIE Bomber 2.57%

A-wing 2.43%

HWK-290 1.87%

Thanks. Another 3 ship rebel list! It adds up to 99 points. Sure that's right? Maybe another R2 on Biggs?

I had the R2 unit on Biggs.

He and Wedge did big time work for me today.

I started pulling in some locations from the FFG website's list, but I don't know that we'll ever get most of them. I got through "Denmark" alphabetically for now, and stopped. :P

*Dice House Games, Fullerton CA, Mar 22nd: ~14 players, Empire

1st: Howlrunner+stealth, backstabber, black+DTF, 4 AP (Me, can't let those X-Wings get into top place ^_^ )

2nd: Wedge, Biggs, Chewy+PTL+Falcon

Top 4: Vader+swarm, Howl+Swarm, 4 AP

Top 4: Howlrunner, Backstabber, Darkcurse, 4 AP

FWIW, going back to the Gamers Armory, Cary NC; March 9th SC, there were 16 players at the event.

Haven't seen this posted yet. Game Depot, Tempe AZ, I think 24 players. Tons of Imperials and specifically interceptors.

1st place was triple Firesprays

2nd place was Howl+Swarm, an Obsidian, two Academy Pilots, and Krassis w/HLC

3rd place was two Bounty Hunters and Soontir w/Stealth and PTL

4th place was two X-Wings (not sure on pilots/upgrades) and two Daggers w/Advanced Sensors

Game Kastle in Santa Clara Ca. will be holding their store championship on April 19th.

Glad to see the results! Wondering who would win, i played Howl + darkcurse and the falcon build (my two losses). I placed 5th in the end.

Rebels 46-37.

I still think we should see a few more B-wings relative to the number of X-wings, but the X-wing unique pilots are very good. The meta game of which ships are favored is pretty clear.

Yup, Biggs is a game changer and luke and wedge have their strengths.

I think only Howlrunners ability has a bigger impact on the game than Biggs.
