haha...nice idea, but without RANGED, he is pretty useless
yes, this is the idea. It forces to you to play ranged, with multiplayer. And you must 'prepare' an enemy, if enemy has more than 3 points to be killed, to gain the resource (for example, with direct damage events, or in 2 rounds, or with snare...). Not easy, if not, this ally would be overpowered, everybody would add him in his deck instead Horse Archer.
PD: but anyway, nobody add Horse Archer in his deck
How can he make a ranged attack without the keyword?
Lol, true! It is fixed...
More ideas from my developer instinc ^^:
Maybe add: if you control a Noldor or Istari character (it would be the cost).
Edited by MndelaThe proper wording would be "cannot be dealt".
I've been really excited by the upcoming Silvan support, so I thought I'd speculate on the new Silvan hero. I know people have said it'll be a hero version of Haldir, but personally I'd be much happier if we got Orophin (Haldir's other brother) that way we can still use the Haldir ally.
So here's my stab at a Silvan Spirit hero, Orophin
The proper wording would be "cannot be dealt".
Ok. Thanks for the correction.
Nice artwork of Orophin, it is from Vynthalllas?
PD: maybe is better say: shuffle the encounter deck, and say... etc. How about?
That art for Orophin is amazing. Would be a nice combo with Denethor and Mirlonde/Glorfindel in a control deck.
Amazing idea thinking about table talk rules:
Maybe a long text but i think it is understandable.
PD: if you respect table talk rules, no problem, before game, you and your friend can speak about which decks and cards you play.
Where are Dunedains? Ah ok, hidden and alert behind trees... ok then ^^
I don't understand the fluff of the handed sword card. The rules are kind of cool (I could see a net trap or something that rangers use having something like that).
Why a sword though?
A wanted a kind of weapon or damaging trap, like a dagger, but i didnt found nothing in the web ^^.
Sword, well, light sword, is good for arrow it to an enemy, i imagine that the enemy is hurted by it and can't fight in his 100% strong power.
Another idea could be: the dunedain character is waiting behind a tree (or another place ^^), and when he sees an enemy and wants to damage to him, he does..., and enemy is hurted. But dunedain uses his ability, and cant return to be hidden in the same place (so he loss the attachment).
Edited by MndelaWell, it's just Thror's Key for enemies.
Yes, exactly.
And enemies also, why not?
Already exists:
Is not the same effect. Lord of the Dead affects text of characters, and Assailant affect text of attachments. Lord of the Dead affects all characters player controls, Assailant only the characters that defend or attack.
oh wow yeah sorry my bad, don't know how I missed that attachment part.....
Don't forget dwarfs.... ^^
This effect sure we have wished it sometime along our games, for sure!
Specially when the attack is undefended, and the shadow effect is awful.
Edited by MndelaI always have thought about reading one attachment ^^:
Anoter card more:
It is similar than Frodo (Black Riders), but without dark power, only using the lore ability (intelligence and technical
). The diference is this card can't avoid the traits neither the 'when revealed' effects. But anyway, it is powerful to avoid bad enemies and locations, his cost is 2.
