Yes, I meant for the Silvan-Noldor archetype to play with. There are some setups with the Silvan trait that use Elrond as a defender or Elrohir as PsychoRocka does in his dual Silvan awesome deck.
Defender of the Naith is actually the only ally/character that has the Silvan trait who's sole purpose is defending/is capable of defening (and not even that capable..), that's why I thought this Thranduil card would allow that, but then again, Silvans are indeed more focused on being cheap but the cost is that they're fragile.
Creative artwork cards
I like the pipe general idea, but maybe as an event played with Gandalf ally to boost his input . Example: reduce more threat, deal more dmg, draw more cards ... Also I love tactic Eowyn. Very thematic plus great artwork.
Here is the Tauriel ally:
What do you think about his stadistics and ability?
Edited by MndelaToo weak for her cost and uniqueness.
Indeed, too underpowered! Legolas only costs 1 more, has better stats for his purpose and let´s you draw a card (in Tactics!)
I don't know, I think the cost is totally fair. Put her at 2 cost, and I would argue it could be potentially overpowered. The ability won't always be useful or have a good target, but there are tons of enemies that this would be useful with and you could cut out their legs from under them. Just to cite a few examples, the Crazed Captive from Nightmare Dol Guldur could be killed without the threat increase of 7, you could use allies to defend against the Orc-chieftain in Journey in the Dark, you could bypass the Morgul Bodyguard in Morgul Vale, you could even get around the damage limit of the Mumak. In fact, I think the ability is so powerful and potentially able to find exploits in scenarios that I don't know if we'll ever see it. If we do, it will probably be even more expensive or tricky to pull of than this. Given that she is Silvan, you can easily bounce her in and out of play to keep triggering it.

It won't.
I can see that if she was cost 2, she would be a little too good (Rumil is four cost, and has only 1 higher willpower and 1 higher defence). The gap between 3 cost and 4 cost is quite big, and Silvan gives lots of opportunities for bouncing. And the ability is pretty good. Give her ranged as well, and she fits quite nicely into the unique slots for Silvan.

Yes, i was thinking about that kind of enemies. She is very ocasionaly, but when she appears, it is a lot of welcome.
Had a whole rant about tthis card, turns out I've misread the whole card. I thought it was: after Tauriel attacks an enemy... But this cost is good, still situational, but good. I would add 'non-unique' enemy, otherwise it can break certain scenarios completely.
Nice card. I think the cost is good. She'd be a great addition to silvan decks, and a situational tough choice in others - right about where I'd expect a card to fall. The only concern I'd have is about potential game-breaking effects with certain enemies/scenarios - and I haven't committed every enemy to memory, so I'll leave that to others. Now you need to either give her a proper name or some embarassing dwarf-synergy...
Next card, Thrain. ^^
As i said, here is Thrain:
I forgot to add: Limit 1 per round. But anyway, it is obvious ^^
So you have to discard a card with the same cost, and reduce by 2... Pretty nice, this would be a nice alternative to Thorin or Balin in a mono-leadership dwarf deck, which is actually a pretty fun archetype. Plus you got some great artwork there.

I think the most obvious game-breaking possibility is Journey in the Dark. Keywords are not traits, so you could kill the Balrog without discarding a hero.
Isn't he immune?
Oh yeah. Well, there are probably still some other ways that ability could break stuff.
Going back to the issue with Thranduil, that I dont believe anyone suitably fixed, I would just add "This action cannot be triggered if you have played any cards this round."
"You may lower the cost of the first card you'll play during the planning phase by 2. If you do, then you cannot play more than 1 other card during that planning phase."
Interesting idea
I don't see the benefit, say only against the Dunland cycle, to decrease hand size. But other viable cards can do that too.
It's not a benefit - it's a thematic downside. He costs only 1 - which is very good for his stats, but he traps a random card from your hand until he leaves play, "guarding" it. It's bad for you.
Aha!
I missed the forced, I thought it was a response.
