Creative artwork cards

Here is a counter offer:

Lore Event

Cost: 0

Response: After an enemy with a Trap attached leaves play, attach that Trap to another enemy in the staging area or engaged with you.

i think it should have a cost of at least one but eh that doesnt matter.

counter-counter offer

Lore Event

Cost: 1(or 0 idk)

Response: After an enemy with a trap attached leaves play, attach that trap to another enemy in the staging area, or add it to the staging area unaateached

It has a lot of costs already. It requires you to have a trap attached, it requires you to have an eligible target to move it, it requires the enemy with a trap to leave play, and it requires you to have this card in your hand which will be dead weight if you don't have the right conditions. All my subjective opinion though.

that is true, but i feel like player cards should usually have a cost. but thats just me.

And I just listed a lot of costs you need to pay. It doesn't have to require resources to be a cost.

i meant resources, but yeah i can see why you say should be 0 cost.

Would these being in the same "set" be too powerful?

I like Wizard Ring, curious. Good idea.

I dont like however the Secrets of the East..., you suffer a lot to play it, and when you do, it is very powerful. I prefer NeedPath for it.

Well, it was made with Alatar and Pallando in mind, who can draw and extra card a round and add 1 extra resource respectively, as well as Wizard's Ring to recycle. There is no repeatable attachment recycle yet.

I'm the opposite, I really like the idea and mechanics of secrets of the east but am not a fan of Wizard Ring.

A Gríma that reduces your threat?? The idea is to represent Gríma as a double agent, a corrupt counselor but also a diplomat who tries to keep attention away from his corruption, hence he reduces your threat.

Because really, tactics Eowyn isn't awesome enough already .......

Denetheor, Leadership

Threat cost: 8

Willpower: 2

Attack: 2

Defense: 0

Health: 3

Lower the cost of the first Gondor ally you play from your hand each round by 1.

Denethor gets +1 Defense for each Gondor ally you control (max +5).

Wow, frenetic times for this thread ^^

Very good cards

Now that I have access to visual editor :D

I think that Denethor could use same stats as his other version but with 0 Def.

He has a build in +1 resource every turn AND get to be a great defender. He is good enough without the added flexibility of 2wp/2atk.

I really like that Denethor.

Here is kinda more interesting approach to the matter:

Good idea. I never thought it.... 'different printed cost' <3

Dunedain Sword

Tactcs Attachment

Cost: 1

Item. Weapon.

Attach to a hero. Restricted.

Attached hero gets +1 Attack.

Response: After you engage an enemy, if attached hero is Dunedain , he gets +1 Attack while attacking that enemy until the end of the round.

Could it bring back eagle decks? Is it too strong?

I wanted to make an overpowered Peter Jackson style Ally version of Legolas for Silvan decks since I feel like the existing Ally version of him doesn't synergize very well in that archetype. It's a pretty simple idea, just Legolas stats with Sneak Attack effects all in one card. Probably should cost 2, but this the movie Legolas so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Gwaihir would need some condition, for example to pay any resource, or to exhasut...

And Legolas, of course, to pay 2 resources makes more sense

Edited by Mndela

Could just limit Gwaihir to once per phase. That would still be powerful, but not so exploitable.

That would render him useless.

I don't know which condition, but without nothing i find Gwaihir too powerfull

I don't think Gwaihir's too powerful as is. Eagles are expensive and Gwaihir doesn't fix that, and Eagles are already good at killing things, and that's what Gwaihir helps. It'd be an overpowered ability if it were Silvans, but Eagles not so much.

I like that it'd make Born Aloft and Meneldor's Flight and To the Eyrie worth playing.
