A third faction

Well they are dipping into the Timeline after the Battle of Endor. Maybe we will see some certain alien race that ransacked the New Republic? I believe they were called the Yuuzhan Vong, and considering the pilots of the E-wings come from that timeframe and a little before. Of course the Yevetha, are a race that show up after the Battle of Endor as well. Which you notice in Etahn A'Baht's picture, his starfighter is shooting at Yevetha ships.

I don't see them using the vong as a 3rd faction, the Imperial remnant is around for a long time after endor as well.

I wouldn't complain one bit if the Vong or Yevetha were never mentioned again and wiped from the SW continuity completely. ;) YMMV

I would see them making Black Sun a faction. Other than that there is theYuuzhan Vong in the books. Organic ships would be an interesting shift away from the typical mechanical ships.

Please no. The Vong are among the worst things to happen to the EU. I hope, hope, hope that the Vong arc is declared non canon.

And no, not because they killed chewie. But that is a factor.

I couldn't disagree more. "Among the worst"? Merely among ?

The Vong are, without a doubt, the worst thing ever to happen to the Star Wars franchise. They're tired cliches, they violate the canon in a couple of important ways, and they're silly to boot.

Grr...

Funny, I am of the opinion that the Vong invasion was the best part of the EU. Oh well, we agree to disagree.

Anyways about a third faction, I would rather not have a third faction for normal play. Letting the Bounty Hunter ships and stuff have separate group in Cinematic or Epic play, however, could be something I would like to see.

Hi all - newbie to the forum. I saw pics of some Shapeways StarVipers, so I though I'd post my Titanium Series Virago & IG 2000. I added a little to the back of IG 2000 to make it scale appropriate.
