From the Hawk, more alertness than YOUR BODY HAS ROOM FOR

From the Hawk, Alertness states:

F Commit 1 foundation: Choose a random card in your opponent's hand. Your opponent plays with the chosen card revealed for the rest of this turn.

My question is, what happens the second time I use it? Let's say I select a card and boom, it's revealed. When I use it again, my opponent insists on using a D-6 to choose which card he reveals. Then using the D-6, the card I already revealed is chosen.

When the card states choose a random card, is the card I already revealed eligible to be targeted by FTHA's randomness?

Because the card is still in hand, it is posible to randomly get the same card twice.

Due to this the best way to randomly select a card for this is via a die roll.

Actually I thoughbt the ruling was that they get to put the revealed card back in with the rest of them, shuffle their hand and you must choose a card at random. Since a revealed card is still in their hand, there is always the possibility of it being revealed a second time.

Except that doesn't work if they have two copies of the card you revealed the first time as there would be no way to tell if they revealed the same card or the other copy.
