Cargo Ideas?

By PhilB2, in Game Masters

I am running into an idea block and thought I would ask the gurus for help. I am working on my next game to gm and want to have the ships crew make a cargo run into Hutt space. The cargo has to be legal and something Hutts would want on a consistent basis. They will be using it as a cover story to get in and hunt for a bounty hunter hiding there and to trade for information. I'm deliberately making this more complicated than just flying in and hunting since they have a bulk freighter and are trying to gather funds through cargo transfers.

So, any ideas on what the Hutts would want buy a lot of? (oh lord, this could get ugly quick)

Exotic foodstuffs.

Special algae-based body wash to keep Hutts nice and slimy.

80000 gallons of fizzyglug syrup

Hand carved wookiee furniture

Vehicle Recharging station hot dogs

Explosives?

Twi'lek dancers?

Perhaps the Hutt is a collector and the cargo is crates of rare ceramic figurines of little rancors or krayts.

An unexpected option might be food or medical supplies. The Godfather II shows the early days of the Corleone family in America, and how Vito Corleone became a popular and respected figure in his community by helping his neighbors. Perhaps a Hutt could be actually benefiting the people who serve him by providing them with something they desperately need.

Exotic foodstuffs.

This trumps most ideas for Hutts, especially since "foodstuffs" can include living cargo, like frogs, small lizards, small woodland animals, large woodland animals, plants that once cut only carry flavor for a set period of time, and the like.

Special algae-based body wash to keep Hutts nice and slimy.

Added approach to this: waters from a particular planet known for it's springs. Mud from another planet that Hutts seem to love.

A few other things:

Tools for their servants. Mechanical sets, cooking materials, etc.

Luxury goods, like fabric, gems, and the like.

Jewelry, make-up and other things to make them look/feel good.

Medicines and other day-to-day things that people overlook.

Droids and droid parts.

I had another thought, but it went right out of the window due to some madness here at work. If I think of it, I'll get it posted here.

Thanks everyone that got me over that hump. I went with Droid parts, Exotic foodstuffs, hoversleds and spring water

Here, try this list !

There better be frog burgers or this Hutt is gonna be pissed................

What about... nexu kittens? :P

That even adds to your game, as your players will probably want to go to Cholganna (or any planet with wild Nexu) first to catch a few.
