Which takes precedence?

Im sure similar topics have been posted. If so I apologize:

Which takes precedence? Dark Curse's ability " When defending, ships attacking you cannot...reroll dice" or Ibtisam's ability "When attacking...if you have at least one stress you may reroll up to one of your dice."?

Dark Curse's abiliy takes precedence over Ibtisam's one.

If one ability forbids an effect, while another ability allows it, the effect is forbidden.

Jehan Menasis is quite right.

Yes, Dark Curse is mean. :)

Dark Curse is so mean that you cannot even fire a blaster turret at it since it requires you to spend a focus token to fire... (Cost me a game once when I was down to Kyle with a blaster turret... Flew around like crazy and took out a couple of other TIEs but then couldn't scratch Dark Curse).

Yikes! That is brutal.

That is a quote from the rulebook. Page 20. Bottom right corner.

Edit:

It is one of those rules which are easy to miss.
