Clarification for using a card's E/R's

By MardukZero, in UFS Rules Q & A

I've looked over the rules repeatedly, and am most likely missing something, but I can't figure this out.

Are you only allowed to use one of a card's printed effects at a time (i.e. per attack), or can you use both if one is an Enhance and one is a Response, or can you always use both? (or does it depend on the card type (such as for characters)...

I guess, basicly, I just need a clarification of the frequency you're allowed to use them. Thank you.

the only card type that you can only use one of the abilities on is an action, since you play it as one of the abilities on their and once its played it just sits there.

you can use as many Es Rs or Fs on a card as it has, but with Es and Rs you can only play them once per enhance step/trigger(respectively) per copy of the card you have out. Forms can be used as many times as you want as long as other restrictions dont apply(like the card commiting itself).

**Stamp**

Thank you.

And when using a form on, say, a foundation in your staging area, do you have to make a control check?

PS: How does stamping work?

IF the card just says:

F:

Go to town, there's no cost.

If the F says:

F (5+):

You have to make a control check of 5 or greater to play the F.

Myself, Tag, and Gouhadou are official rules arbiters per the forum description. Therefore our answers are as official as you'll ever get in these forums.

If someone gives the right answer, we stamp the correct answer, so that folks know that the correct answer has been given. It saves us typing a couple of extra lines. We recommend answering the questions only if you *know* the answer. Incorrect answers often clutter and confuse. Hence the additional reason for stamping.

I see. Thank you again.

Final (I promise) question on the topic:

So when you use a foundation's form (or other card in the staging area), that doesn't add to the incremental difficulty because they don't go to the card pool, right?

Correct.

And no need to worry about whether or not you ask more questions. That's what we're here for.

Except of course when they do go to the card pool (Taking The Bait for example).

But Taking the Bait doesn't functionally add to progressive difficulty due to the -1 it gives to all difficulties.
