I am new to Tournament play and i need some help how often does these happen?

so there are game night kits and there for store tournaments

then there are store championships?

then there are regional's?

then there is?

also i read the first place winner at a store championship gets a bye at regional's? how does that work?

There aren't a lot of tournaments yet for X-Wing in Australia. There are store championships and I think we have a regional also but I've only come into X-Wing recently so aren't across the board with it as I was with 40K events.
