Anyone else here hoping this has a Star Wars vibe in being a space fantasy. I hope that because its roots are in comics it will.
There is a preview of the upcoming trailer that comes out tomorrow.

I don't know about Star Wars vibe but I'm sure it will be fun to watch regardless. Loved the dark elf ship in Thor 2.
Hopefully it'll be good. The Marvel movies are usually good, so I have high hopes.
Also, I like how they've now released a trailer for the trailer. Yo dawg, etc.

I have been looking forward for this sense I heard about it.
I honestly don't know about the Star Wars feel, unless your looking at the "Space Cowboy" aspect of it which I think is a good possibility.
I have a feeling I am going to watch this film and say "This is what the prequels should have been like."
Groot!
I still don't have high hopes for this... James Gunn hasn't written anything even remotely approaching the label "more than decent" so far in his career.
That will be fun. Space Raccoons... FTW.
GROOT!
Loved the trailer. Feeling like this is going to be a good one.
I'm in.
Aliens, space battles, blasters, humour, galactic empires. Awesome!

Well yikes. His writing portfolio does leave much to be desired. But Thor 2 was well directed.
With as much as I am a Marvel fan, I have found not going in with high hopes has served me well. I just sit back and enjoy the ride.
30 years ago I dreamed of seeing my favorite comic book heroes on the big screen. Overall I am not disappointed.
I would have preferred the original Guardians of the Galaxy. I was a fan of them, but hopefully this will be a fun ride.

YOU SHUT YOUR FILTHY MOUTH! YOU SHUT IT!
Tromeo and Juliet was bloody brilliant! Best adaption of a Shakespeare play featuring Lemmy and giant ***** monsters EVER!

Um...okay. Relax my penguin friend.

Yondu does show up in the movie (played by Michael Rooker, if I'm not mistaken). I am a fan of the original team as well.

Actually, Slither is a favorite of mine.

Slither was actually surprisingly good and I really liked the Dawn of the Dead remake. Mind you, it's not nearly as good as the original - but as a huge fan of the Romero version, I wasn't too terribly offended by the new one.

We'll have to disagree here. Slither and Super were both great in my opinion.
I realize this is by no means a guarantee that GotG will be good, but I believe it will. I get a vibe that it will be a spiritual heir to The Fifth Element, which I also loved.
There is no arguing taste. I found slither extremely mediocre at best and his best movie by far...
I thought this trailer was loads of fun. I'm a fan of Chris Pratt, and I'm looking forward to seeing him combine his more comic style of acting with an action role.
Big fan of Peter Serafinowicz, he is great in this trailer. "What a bunch of A-holes."

No kidding. I saw this trailer and thought "formulaic yawn-fest"...but to each their own.
