if an investigator is litas because there's no way back/an encounter tells him to but NOT because he's reduce to 0 sanity or 0 stamina, does he lose half his items and clues? I'm pretty sure not, as I found nothing of it in the rules, but I want to make sure.

Why should he/she? That person is delayed as always and then spat out at a location/street of their own choise.

You only loose items and such if your are driven insane or stamina = 0 and that is a totally different rule.

Only loose stuff when insane/knocked.
