if i use something to return it to printed damage, (fight or flight, healer, holding ground) is it considered a damage increase?

i think you can for the same reason that hilde does not work with healer.

raging gnome was the first topic for this discussion. since it says increase, and returning to printed would increase, then you cant return to printed

wait im pretty sure they ruled that if someone fight or flights an attack then reduces it u can Tae Kwon Do Zephyr to bring it to printed. Same as holding ground doesnt reduce damage.

thats because fight or flight says this attack may not recieve any more damage bonuses. returning an attack to its printed damage is a increase/decrease, but its not a bonus/penalty. so the ruling is a slight difference in words

So Yang can cancel Holding Ground then? Since he can cancel an ability that would reduce damage?

only if it would indeed result in a reduction. one of the few cases where an ability will check.
