Are there any players on this board who live within easy distances of Flint?

Our FLGS is trying to start up a regularly scheduled organized play. Support is limited, and if we can get more regular players then we can start having actual events with prizes and the like.

There're play groups in Lansing, Livonia, and I believe Clinton. But I don't know of any closer to Flint (assuming you mean Flint MI). There's a Facebook group that you could try out.

Excellent, I live in Frankenmuth. I've sure been looking for a close place to play when I can't make the further drives.

I assume you mean Flint, Michigan (USA),... not Flint, England. If so, I know of several players in the Lansing area. At our last tournament (26 DEC 2013) we had 14 players. BTW- we will have another tournament on 10 MAR 2014.

Yes, I mean Flint, MI. Gamers Sanctuary hosts from 6-10 Monday nights. The more people we can start getting regularly, the better.

Cool City Games in Port Huron has a numbers of players. We try to do 1 tourney a month on the first Saturday of the month. Starts at 6pm. Good parking and prize support if we have 8 players. I also will be running a story based X-wing league on Thursday nights at 6pm.

I live near Gamers Sanctuary, I didn't know they had any X-wing going on.

I'll stop by and check it out tonight. I don't have a lot of stuff yet, just two starters, so i'd need to barrow 1-2 ships to play a full 100pt game.

Is the Lansing tournament on 10 March (a Monday) or 8 March (a Saturday), I ask because I rarely see one on a weekday ? Also what are the details, can you provide a link ?

Anyway, the X-wing tournament in Lansing is, indeed, Saturday 8 March (not 10 March as previously stated). I'm not sure what time yet; when I know, I'll post.
