So.. this happened.. lol.. the decal paper I am using is a bit Fiddly, as some would say, so the district decals kind of got messed up as I was applying them, but I have plenty and will possibly use my alternate set I copied, they are on different paper and may work better, but the Imp symbols came out pretty good I think. Only a flat coat on them at the moment.

Looks pretty good. still better than any decals I've placed on some of my old 40K models.

thanks guys, the picture doesn't show it but there are a couple of spots I will have to touch up, but they are minor, I am happy with the results so far.

With how delicate and fiddly the decals are I have to be careful applying them, and will have to place them carefully and not move them much afterwards. over all I'm enjoying the process, and just need to hot the LGS this week to see if I can find parts from a school bus.. or just a couple model railroad school busses and break em down for parts.

OK, realizing I can't use the decal paper I was trying to, it is just too delicate for my barbaric handling, I have another type that I can use. I used it on the Imp symbols on these fine albino space Bison..

Decided to personalize my translucent cosmic Manatees tonight, and added the imp symbol on the school buses top fin as well. Need to hit the local shop and get some supplies I think

Next time I'll throw in the TIEs I am painting to match the District 2987 Bus.

slowly but surely it will get finished.. I need to do some masking and do my black lines and see if I can find some lights for the back and sides.

The Decals are very impressive, how did you print them?

Thanks, I just print them on my inkjet printer. I create them using the MS paint program, and the paper is a model railroading decal paper.

This is the best thing I've seen today, keep up the great work! And maybe make a window decal with a bunch of little Bobas looking out

Update coming tomorrow. Added some things and need to let them dry so I can seal it all. I am really liking the way this translucent cosmic manatee is coming out. I hope those of you who have been following this process with me also like it.

Sound of wind blowing across a desolate landscape. Crickets chirping in the silence. Yeah that was rubbish.

Cutting up the bits and pieces then going to assemble... I hate having 3 projects going good at the same time.. lol but it does let me take a break from one to work on another.. As in.. I also just gloss coated the bus.. waiting game for it to dry so I can see what needs work and to take some photos..

The Solar Flare is also a favorite of mine, and I'll be doing another mod to another YT that shifts the cockpit to the port side.. that should be fairly easy..

Haha.. I have a couple bumper stickers I should make now.. haha.. gonna try to keep it pristeen for a while.. fresh off the line kind of look.. the shiney look is really nice, but I think I need to add a couple of black lines to dress it up. Taking pictures in a while.. will be looking for some critiques and if it could be improved... all ideas welcom, some may be implemented.. lol

So I did some decals and retouched some paint. then Gloss coated the tops side. heres where it stands.

Thats the update.. had a bad day with internet service hopefully this posts.. or I'll probably pop a vein in my head from the stress of it all.

Not sure a walkway on the wing would be wise. Might be a bit of a squeeze when wings are up and might be a bit of a health and safety risk when wings are down.

Can't wait to see what's next.

Thanks, I see what you mean about the walkway.. I think the one on the wing might not be practical, as they are folded when on the deck. I was looking at it last night and still thinking I need more black paint on it. This led me to think of doing the wing tips, also on the underside of the wings I need to pit the '2987' so it can be read when the wings are folded..
