Damage Control Question...

I'm in the middle of a combat encounter in my game, and I've come across something in the RAW that demands interpretation before I can move onward. Any help would be appreciated.

Damage Control, if you go with it RAW, means that a successful check recovers only a single System Strain point ( "...a successful Mechanics check recovers one point of system strain." ). Does it only recover a single point regardless of Successes netted? If so, does this also apply to Damage Control when used to recover Hull Trauma?

The Edge errara covers this, possibly the Beta update too. Its one point of HT per success, and I believe that Strain is the same.

HD is correct in this. Sam Stewart also confirmed that the strain part can be done more than once an encounter, but not the hull trauma aspect of the action. Happy gaming.
