By LordCole, in X-Wing

This is good news if we all have not heard yet.

Season Six will be included, which has not been aired nor published on disc.

Thirteen episodes of what they are calling the "Lost Missions".

I approve this message.

I'm so glad! I've not seen ANY of them yet so I'll be doing one of those weeks where I cram them all in

The series, as it grew, simply got better and better. Just like the Original Trilogy, I go back and re-watch episodes often and get just as much enjoyment.

Season 4 was amazing on blue ray!

I have only seen the Movie, so this will be a treat.

*UPDATE*

Just a reminder that this is happening Friday March 7th.

It will include the Feature film, the director's cut of seasons 1 through 5 along with those 13 episodes of the Lost Missions.

I know alot of people hated on it, especially early on, but I really enjoyed it and it did get better and better as the seasons went on. Also I can't wait to watch all the episodes in chronological order. If you google it, someone figured out the order so you can watch them in order. Broadcast order is still good though.

I never watched it on tv because I was very partial to the original clone wars cartoon. After learning it was really good I am now looking forward to watching it all.

I really didn't like the movie, but I thought the series was great.

Unlike most everyone here though, I thought the first season was really good and that it went downhill after a couple of years.

Can anyone in the know answer a question:

What's the difference, if any, between Clone Wars and The Clone Wars?

I know the former is cartoon while the other is more computer cartoon. Just wanted to clear up the obvious part. I'm asking because I want to buy The Clone Wars series. There's a five series box on Amazon with my name on it.

I'm looking forward to this. I haven't seen the cartoon, but Star Wars is Star Wars

The episode "Landing at Point Rain" was legendary. The battle scenes rivaled any cinematic counterpart. The "Darkness on Umbara" story arc from Season 4 was amazing, too.

The series can definitely be cartoony at times, but the action scenes more than make up for it, as far as I'm concerned.

The story arcs involving the troopers without the Jedi were some of my favorites. The episode "The Deserter" (S2, Ep10) is probably my favorite one of the lot.

Likewise. I love the fact that not all the stories are about Anakin and company. That's one of the things I thought they got away from a bit in the later seasons.

Star Wars: Clone Wars was created by Genndy Tartakovsky and was done in the same artistic style that was used to do Samurai Jack. Each episode was only about fifteen minutes long, but you got to see how Ventress was brought into the story

and how Anakin got the scar on his eye.

Sounds like it's just in the US & Canada for now, come on Netflix and Disney can't we get some love across the pond? :(

Bummer, I am sorry. I wish I could help, everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy this show.

I think the cartoon one was excellent. Much better than the cgi ones IMO. I would like to know where I could buy the cartoon version.

There are ways of making your computer / android device think it's part of a US VPN.

All things being considered it might not be completely in line with their terms of use so proceed at your own risk but, as they say, there's an app for that.

When does this start on Netflix?

Now, watched first 2 episodes this morning.

NOW!!!!

I'm only one episode in (S6), but I like where this is headed. Good to see ARC-170s in the series. Of course watching this is only going to make me want FFG to put out a game with these ships soon. The Nu-class shuttle would be an awesome mini in addition to the staples. I want minis of ARC-170, V-19, BTL-B, Delta-7, Eta-2, Alpha-3, a host of droid ships including Scarabs and Hyenas... bring it on!
