i think i have found my ned favorite card :)

Good catch! Stamp for MegaGeese

We were discussing this at dinner last night after cards =(

Just making sure on this, does the momentum never get gained at all for either/both players? Or do you just mark chosen foundations on both sides and they go in at end of turn, or just the one foundation for cost goes in at end?

i would think since the cost cannot be paid (at the time of the effect resolving) that the effect would not happen. But maybe it happens at end of turn...definately, if you played the E, the foundation that was supposed to go to your momentum as part of the cost would happen at end of turn...the question is does the "effect" resolve at end of turn, or does it fizzle since the cost cannot be paid at the time it is played?

I assume fizzle.

Well considering it's an enhance and the enhance phase is over, fizzle sounds about right.

But your opponent DOES get to add what they chose to your momentum.

As an addendum to this thread, when a card effect says add the top two cards of your deck to your momentum. Theoretically, when you play that ability, those two cards are set. When you play the current ability, those cards are to be added. What happens when calming the mind is in effect, you play the effect, you then check those cards. At the end of the turn do you go grab the cards that were checked because those were the ones that were on the top of the deck when the ability was played or do you just grab the top two cards of your deck?

Woah... holy over complication people

Calming the Mind says the cards are instead added at the end of the turn.

So the card tagged by Spinta's cost... goes to the momentum.

Then, if there are X cards from the top of the deck that are supposed to go to the momentum, you then move X cards from the top of the deck.

If there are X cards from hand, then those X cards from hand go.

Any effects that are unable to happen because of a lack of hand, or the card targeted by spinta being destroyed, they simply fizzle out.
