So deamons just "Push" all their psychic powers all the time?

By Amazing Larry, in Rogue Trader Rules Questions

I'm looking at the rules and I don't see any reason why they wouldn't, but the implications are failry intimidating since it means the Screamer of Tzeench does 1d10+14 impact damage with it's force bolts with a range of 70 meters making every shot close range in any likely scenario therefore rolling BS of 45 after making it's focus power tests at WP75.

Pretty brutal considering the **** things are going to be having their way with most of the party the first few rounds since they'll most likely have to make a fear check at -40.

Indeed.

Happy Daemon hunting :D

I too am shocked that Daemons don't show more concern for the welfare of the material world.

No it's not that it's just that after going over the rules for psykers again while looking at incorporating some deamons with psy powers into an encounter I was a bit surprised to realize that even a mediocre or downright sh*tty psi-rating on a deamon still translated into supercharged psychic powers. I kpet going back over it trying to see if there was maybe a fatigue penalty for overusing or failing pushes, or perhaps something in the deamon traits stating they can't expend too much of the warp energy they're made of without self destructing but no as far as I can tell whatever a deamon's psi rating is immediately add four more to it for all practical purposes.

I've had a deamon fight in my game before but it was a sort of melee centric hybrid of the Ebon Giest and the Nurgle one I put together because the giest was too piss weak and the nurgle-thing was too **** powerful for the group I had that week.
