So, does anyone else here.....

.... fold up the wings on their shuttles when they fall in battle?

Sorry, it's late, I'm tired and I just won my first game using the following list:

Captain Yorr

Gunner

Intelligence Agent

Fire Control System

Engine Upgrade

Omicron Pilot x2

Gunner

Fire Control System

Engine Upgrade

My opponent was:

Han Solo

Tycho Celchu

Push the Limit

Blue Squadron Pilot

Two of my Opposite-of-Black Galactic Yaks fell and the last bought down the Falcon from behind to win the game. Special thanks to SableGryphon and his Lambda Pilot School 101 and 102 lessons for this win!

So yeah, just wondered who else folds their wings I guess...

*Edit - To be clear, I play with the wings down, I only fold them up when I remove them from the board, kind of a Lambda Last Rite.

I do the same, and I've also painted it black (so now it's not an "Opposite-of-black Galactic yak") and will make some more weathering and possibly also redo my attempt at engine glow:

I will most likely do another one in "Imperial Guard" Red and when both are done the wings will likely be glued in the up folded position since the paint job will otherwise be scraped by the folding up & down

I don't know about folding up wings. I often fly them with an extra peg thrown in, so that the wings have better clearance from the table.

I tend to fold up the wings only when they would get in the way, such as when the craft gets into a furball. When destroyed I just set them aside (folding wings down as necessary) as I often use the same list between games. I know a couple players who, when their ship is destroyed, the remove half the peg and lay it down next to the base.

I'm happy to see you victorious with that list. It's a great list and I certainly enjoyed playing it. It's one I still use occasionally, though I'm usually running Scarlet Cowgirl at this point.
