I work part-time at a local skating rink driving Zamboni occasionally, and playing Star Wars regularly with my buddy. So I've been talking to him for a couple of months about playing, and his interest kept growing and as I have been accumulating my ships, we've been able to match them up and test drive different squads.

So after several weekends of test driving ships and tactics, he mentioned that he had placed a core set in his shopping cart on Amazon... I was thinking, "come on.. just a little further to the finish line.." So this morning I came in...

...he ended up with 2 core sets...

"...Come with me. It is the only way...."

Its always awesome to get others involved. I'm surprised it took him that long! I played the game once and dropped $100+ the next day on my own set of stuff. I showed my brother the game and he did exactly the same thing. This game sticks in your brain and you are powerless to do anything about it other than succumb to its will. But I've always been a huge star wars nerd. My brother too. So maybe that explains our rapid descent into the darkside. Congrats on your new opponent!

It's nice to infect others with this game. Have done it myself. Need to see if he it pay yet on the cart.
