I am with weasel here. Next to the falcon, the blockade runner / corvette had always been my favorite ship of any kind, in any universe. I don't know if it will see any play, all I know is. ..it will be mine! I am looking forward to all the rest as well, tie defender especially. Also like the potential of both rebel ships, not excited about the looks though.

I am already working on a custom roof rack for the mini van to haul a victory class star destroyer, and I do plan to add it to my insurance as well.

For me its wave 4 > big ships > imp aces.

I love the fact that all packs should bring something new and give us new ways of playing the existing ships but I'm a rebel player at heart and so I'm really looking forward to the e-wing and headhunter and then the transport with a new x-wing

I'm actually most excited about the Headhunter, for two main reasons: Corran Horn as a possible pilot again (PS8 sounds right, he flew a headhunter on Coruscant), and dual-flight rebel teams. I am a huge fan of having multiple flights of ships in a single squad, and right now the only faction that can handle that is Imps. With the Headhunter, I can finally do rebel flights, either two full flights of 4, or (what I'll most likely run most often) a 3-ship flight of Rookie X-wings and a 3-ship flight of Bandit Z-95's.

Headhunter's definitely my favourite of the Wave 4 ships.

I'm not sure about the E-Wing and Defender, kinda seems like big ship specs on a small ship. I liked having to choose a big ship if I wanted one really expensive really powerful ship.

I'm most excited about the TIE Defender. I spent a lot of time as a child playing "TIE Fighter" on PC.

The Rebel Transport is a close second for me. I remember using a white piece of foam shaped like an egg cut in half as a stand-in for the GR-75 so I could defend it/attack it with my Micro Machines Star Wars ships, so it's kind of exciting to see a detailed model of it that's playable in a game. The little kid in me is salivating.

Well I have the Aces and Rebel transport in pre-order. I would have loved the Tantive as well but money is stretched as it is and besides a lower price, the transport has also got the added bonus of the X-wing and, as everyone on this forum has already mentioned more cards so they are probably what I look forward to the most.

That said I am totally baffled about the HUGE amounts of posts generated due to the release of the Wave 4 news. What makes us more excited:

the new models or the new cards and the possibilities they offer?

The answer is quite easy: a quick scan of the topics and posts here shows that people are most excited by the upgrade and pilot cards...

As a miniature gamer I still have trouble with this. I like the Z95 and the Defender because they feature in the X-wing Rogue squadron novels and are given a pretty decent background. I have yet to read anything featuring the Phantom and the e-wing but can tell you the E-wing will enter my collection because I personally find it to be ugly sorry if this offends anyone, just my personal opinion ;-)

I have to say the Tative. Sure all it ever did in the movies was get schooled by a star destroyer. It is still a powerful ship. Pretty nasty on the starfighter scale. I wonder if it will have the blind spot right behind those giant engines, where you can just sit and kill it. Remember that from the old X-wing and TIE Fighter games. Good Times.

I have to say the huger ships seem the coolest, and as cool as all those weird things the Transport can do, the Corvette can shoot. I am eager to see what turbo lasers look like in this game. If I were to write the rules they be something like attack dice 1, but if they hit they do 5 damage. They are designed for larger more powerful ships than fighters.
